What Cars Do Georgia's Football Stars Actually Drive?

On the last day of May 2026, UEFA named Khvicha Kvaratskhelia its Champions League Player of the Season: 17 goal contributions in 16 games, more contributions than matches played. Georgian sports pages celebrated for about a day. Then they went back to the genre they never really left: photographing what the man parks outside Tbilisi airport.

This piece does for Georgia's own footballers what our celebrity garage guide did for Ronaldo and Kim Kardashian: names, cars, dates, receipts. Every pairing below links to media coverage, a public record, or the player's own post. Where the record is thin, we say so. Three garages are documented in any real detail; the rest of the national team keeps theirs off the record, and we say that too instead of inventing.

Kvaratskhelia's garage: a stolen Mini, a green Mercedes, a V12 Lamborghini

The record starts small. At Napoli, Kvaratskhelia drove a Mini Countryman, and in the early hours of 3 November 2022 it was stolen from outside his home while he slept upstairs, as Corriere dello Sport reported via Ekho Kavkaza. Italian police found the car in under 24 hours, undamaged. The episode left a mark. In an interview excerpt that went viral in May 2026, reposted across Threads and Instagram, he described what came next:

"I had to drive a small old Fiat Panda because it wasn't safe. Even when Napoli won Serie A and fans called me 'Kvaradona,' I was still arriving at training in that little car."

The scudetto hero of Naples commuting in a battered Panda did not stay the picture for long. In March 2023 Georgian tabloids photographed him leaving Tbilisi airport in a brand new Mercedes-AMG GT R, a 585-horsepower coupe they priced at around $157,000. The green GT R became his signature at home: esport.ge still listed it as his car in February 2025, and Georgian car vlogger George Sarishvili filmed a full walkaround of "Khvicha's personal AMG GTR". Between seasons, Sport24 documented him in a Porsche Panamera GTS on Georgian mountain roads, a 460-horsepower V8 four-door.

Then came June 2026. Two days after the UEFA award, Kvaratskhelia posted himself stepping out of a scissor-doored supercar in a parking garage; the post collected 3.7 million likes:

His caption is a single Georgian flag. The model naming came from the press: Footballnews.ge identified the car as a Lamborghini Revuelto, the marque's first V12 plug-in hybrid, from about $600,000 before options, pointing to the personalized plate KK-777-DN visible in photos of the car in Georgia. So the photo is the player's own; the badge on it is the sports press's identification, and we label it that way.

You cannot rent Kvaratskhelia's exact GT R, and the man deserves his privacy anyway. The silhouettes are another matter. What does Giorgi Mamardashvili drive?

A black Audi, and we know because of a court report. On 27 January 2026, a Cheshire police officer drove past the Liverpool goalkeeper's Audi on the M6 and saw the driver holding a phone near the steering wheel at motorway speed. In May a court fined him £440 and added six points to his licence; the PA report carried by AOL named the black Audi and quoted PC Ree: "the driver appeared to be watching something on the screen whilst he was driving at motorway speed."

Kakha Kaladze: a garage that sits in public records

Two Champions League titles with AC Milan, now mayor of Tbilisi, and the owner of the only garage on this list documented by law rather than paparazzi. Georgian officials file public asset declarations, and Kaladze's have read like a car catalogue for a decade. In 2014, Netgazeti counted eight cars and a motorcycle in his filing, including, per the declaration archived by IDFI, a Rolls-Royce Phantom. His 2016 declaration recorded a Mercedes G63 bought for 140,000 euros. In 2018 the story took a turn worthy of a supra toast: BM.GE reported he sold a Ferrari GTO and bought a Volga, the Soviet sedan of every Georgian childhood. And in the declaration filed this spring, he reported selling another Ferrari in 2025.

Where are the rest of the squad's cars?

Off the record, and honestly so. We searched Georgian, Russian, English, French and Spanish coverage for Georges Mikautadze (now at Villarreal), long-time captain Guram Kashia (Slovan Bratislava), Giorgi Chakvetadze, Otar Kiteishvili and Zuriko Davitashvili, and found no verifiable car with any of their names on it. No pairing, no claim: that rule held in our celebrity piece and it holds here.

Two honest notes instead. First, the budget for bigger garages exists: after Georgia beat Portugal at Euro 2024, Bidzina Ivanishvili pledged the squad a bonus of 8.4 million pounds, per the BBC. Second, X long ago diagnosed why the fame lags the football, in a post that collected 87,000 likes:

Footballers' cars churn. Kvaratskhelia's Napoli Mini gave way to a Panda, then a GT R, then apparently a Revuelto, all inside four years. Kaladze's declarations show cars arriving and leaving annually: a Ferrari out one year, a Volga in the next. So every pairing above carries its year, the Revuelto's model name rests on sports-press identification of the player's own photos, and nothing here says "currently drives" without a 2026 source. The car photos on this page show the models, sourced from Wikimedia Commons under free licenses; none of them is the player's actual vehicle.
