Tbilisi is where the fleet lives. Every car is prepared, detailed and insured in our Vake garage, which is why a hand-off inside the city takes about half an hour rather than half a day.
Tell us the car and the time. We bring it to your hotel, your apartment or the arrivals curb at Tbilisi International — fuelled, washed and fully insured, with the paperwork already filled in. Delivery inside the city starts at $40 and costs the same at three in the morning as it does at midday.
We walk around the car with you, photograph its condition together, hand over the documents and leave. The return works in reverse: tell us where the car will be standing and we collect it there.
All 74 published cars are based in Tbilisi — from an everyday sedan at $85 a day up to a Ferrari 296 GTB. The cars guests ask for most from this city are the G63, the Range Rover, the S-Class and the Urus.
If you want one specific car on a specific date, a day's notice is usually enough. In high season the top of the fleet books out further ahead, so it is worth writing early.
Three routes account for most of what leaves our garage. Kakheti and the wine roads around Telavi and Sighnaghi are an easy day out. The Georgian Military Highway runs north to Gudauri at roughly 120 km and Stepantsminda at roughly 155 km. And Rustavi Motorpark, a real circuit with a public price list, is half an hour southeast of the city.
If a route asks for a local at the wheel — a winter pass, a long transfer, a wedding — a chauffeur is $120 a day.
No. The Vake garage works by appointment and most guests never see it — we deliver the car to your hotel, apartment or the airport instead.
Usually about thirty minutes inside the city once the car and the dates are confirmed. Nights and early mornings included.
Yes, at any hour. We meet arrivals with a name board and hand the car over in the airport car park. Delivery there starts at $40.
Yes, on the paved routes — Gudauri and Stepantsminda are ordinary drives on the Military Highway. Winter has its own tyre rules and there are unpaved passes where a rental contract sets limits, and both are covered in our Journal.
It depends on the car, and the excess matters more than the deposit itself. We explain how both work, and what a scratch actually costs, in a separate Journal article.
